NeuroUrology Labs Led by Drs. Jim Hokanson and Aaron Mickle

I am pursuing a PhD in Biomedical Engineering. My research focuses on improving preclinical methods for studying lower urinary tract function and developing better treatments for urinary dysfunction. My projects investigate how bladder filling rate affects cystometric outcomes, develop a cost-effective system for measuring urethral pressure, and examine how tibial nerve stimulation electrode placement influences nerve recruitment and bladder function. Ultimately, my work aims to translate preclinical findings into more effective and personalized treatments for lower urinary tract symptoms.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing games, watching videos, and participating in sports.
